Daily Dive Trips

Relax and dive into the spectacular undersea world of Miami Beach. Discover crystal clear warm waters, fish of every color of the rainbow and a plethora of wrecks and reefs to choose from.

We offer daily dive and snorkel trips departing from Miami Beach Marina, aboard the dive boat Big Com-Ocean. We visit more than 50 different dive sites that include 38 wrecks and 15 reefs. You have the opportunity to do deep dives, wreck dives and reef dives among others.

Divers on a WreckHighlights include large, deep wrecks, shallow wrecks, historic wrecksites and a natural reef system which extends into the Florida Keys. Many of the wrecks are in protected zones, such as the Key Biscayne Site, where spearfishing is prohibited.That means more big fish are there for you to see! The natural reefs run parallel to the coast and range from 20’- 80’ in depth.

Underwater you can see lobsters, moray eels, goliath groupers, barracudas, tarpoons, stingrays, turtles and even dolphins on the surface.

The Dive Boat

Big Com-Ocean is a 46-foot custom Newton dive boat, built in Slidell, Louisiana in May 2004 and designed to make diving comfortable and fun for divers of all experience levels. She uses twin 3126 Caterpillar engines at 385 hp each, giving it speeds of over 20 knots with a full load of divers. She has 2 levels so that guests can enjoy plenty of sunshine or stay in the shade!

The boat carries a full first aid kit aboard, a backboard, and plenty of oxygen in the unlikely event of a diving accident.

What is Provided?

The vessel has a clean and accessible marine head as well as fresh water showers. We provide cold, filtered drinking water with cups as well as a larger cooler with ice. You may bring whatever you like for diving nourishment.

  • At What time does the boat leave? For morning trips you have to be at the Marina at 8:00 am, the boat leaves at 8:30 am. For afternoon trips, you have to be at the Marina at 12:30 noon, the boat leaves at 1:00 pm. For evening trips, you have to be at the Marina at 6:00 pm, the boat leaves at 6:30 pm.
