The Patricia is a classic steel tug boat lying in 50-ft of water, it was sunk in 1990. It is mostly intact with a profile rising 20 feet from the sandy bottom at 53 feet. This novice dive site is a good one for underwater photography.

The "Wreck Trek Ft. Lauderdale" is a 3 wreck drift dive that includes the Jay Scutti, Tracey and Merci Jesus. You can easily cover 2 wrecks and if the current is right you can do all 3. This area is a great dive, along with all the marine life you get to test your navigational skills. There are rebar stakes sticking up in the sand in between the wrecks to help guide you along. Depending on the current you either start out on the Jay Scutti of the Merci Jesus. Circumnavigate each wreck, then take a heading and follow the stakes about 200' to each wreck. USS Spiegel Grove

The USS Spiegel Grove served as a Navy supply ship in Operation Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf. At 510 feet in length, she is among the largest military ships ever scuttled to create an artificial reef. Hours before her scheduled sinking, the Spiegel Grove unexpectedly sank and rolled over onto her starboard side. In 2005, Hurricane Dennis came along and righted the ship. This site is an excellent choice for first-time divers and novice snorkelers. Located in about 15-20 foot of water there is one east and one west facing ledge providing a great hiding spot for the small critters of the shallows.
